California and Christmas

Okay, this is going to be a very long entry. So...BE PREPAAAAAAARED. =P

I have been lazy/busy about writing in this thing. Alright, mostly lazy, but whatever. My trip to California was very fun. The plane ride wasn't that bad, BUT, we did get delayed. Which we expected. Our first plane was supposed to go from Portland, Maine, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but the Philly was too foggy, so the plane couldn't land there. So the plane landed in Rochester, New York instead, and my friend and I were stranded in that airport for literally, 5 HOURS. Then we had to backtrack to Boston, Massachusetts, then finally get on a plane from Boston to Los Angeles, California. I'll take you on a journey through my week. If you're not interested, skip this next part.

Monday - Obviously didn't do anything except go straight to bed. =P
Tuesday - Went to Walmart (how original). Afterward, we pretty much just drove around. Also went on the musical road which is awesome. There are these little bars or something on the road and when you drive over them, it plays music. Also went to the observatory which was pretty neat and got to overlook the whole city at night. It was really pretty. =D Also went to the movies. We saw Rise of the Guardians which was AWESOME. I love that movie. :)
Wednesday - Went to Hollywood. It was pretty much an all day adventure since we got lost a billion times. Also ate at Buffalo Wild Wings which was pretty good.
Thursday - This was our lazy day kind of. Even though we did still drive around, we didn't go anywhere really fantastic. We did go to this great pet shop though. =P
Friday - Went to California Adventure, which is like Disneyland for adults/teenagers. Took us almost all day to actually get there because my sister's GPS kept screwing up. Also was my first night spent in a hotel ever.
Saturday -  Went to Disneyland. Didn't even get to ride on half the rides we wanted to because all the lines for them were an hour wait or longer. We didn't really stay that long either.
Sunday - Went to Hollywood again because the guy that was there knows his way around better than my sister does. Got really close to the sign and took pictures by it. Got to see some famous people's houses. Madonna's old house, Pee Wee Herman's house, Marilyn Manson's house. We actually looked in Marilyn Manson's window like some creeps to see if he was home but he wasn't. HAHA. Also, I LOST MY DAMN CAMERA. :(( After I got pictures of Kat Von D's tattoo shop and everything. UGH. But I might be getting another one for Christmas, hopefully! But it won't have those pictures on it which makes me sad. :(
Monday - Obviously the day we left, so we flew all day. Literally. We left at like noon time and didn't get back in Maine until like 1 or 2 in the morning.

Also, yes I am pretty glad to be home. Even though we came back to TONS OF SNOW. >.<
We're supposed to get like 18 inches or some crap tomorrow. We already have probably like 4 inches maybe? I'm not good at looking out my window and estimating. =P Hopefully my work closes. :)

This part won't be too long because I just went to my sister's for Christmas like I do every year. =P
I had awesome food and then had a nerf gun war with my nieces and their dad. It was so friggin fun it lasted like 2 hours and it would've gone on longer if I hadn't had to leave. =P

So, I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I know I did! I'll post some pictures from California too, just to make this entry even longer. =P

Daaaaamn

My trip to California is getting closer. Holy crap I'm nervous still. I hope I don't like, freak out on the plane or something. o.O
I mean, I've always wanted to go to California anyway, and now I actually have a reason to, but I just can't wait until this is all over. Even though I'll probably be doing this again eventually. It's stressing me out a lot more than it should. I hope I don't go crazy because I have to be around people for A WEEK STRAIGHT. I know it's my sister, and I haven't seen her in like a year, and I love her and everything, but I just like time to myself too. I'm an introvert. Plus, it's not gonna be just my sister. It's gonna be the friend I'm going with, my sister, and the people she's staying with, which is three more people. I'll probably be glad to come home. At least I finally get a week off from work. =P

I think my animals know I'm leaving them. My cats won't leave me alone, and I was packing clothes in my suitcase last night with one of my cats watching me, and she looks up at me and meows. =(
I'm really sad about leaving my animals honestly. I love them. D:
I'm also worried that something is going to happen to my old dog while I'm gone. She's like 17 years old, and a lot can happen in a week. But I keep trying to tell myself that she'll be fine. I keep trying to tell myself that everything will be fine.

I'm packing a bunch of crap that will hopefully keep me entertained on the plane rides. For example, my laptop (hopefully the planes have wifi), my 3DS, my iPod, a book (or a few books), probably going to pack paper and pencils and stuff in case I want to draw. Taking my camera on the plane too so I can take pictures out the window (hopefully!). It's really hard for me to sit still for long periods of time. I can barely sit through a 2 hour movie, imagine a 6 hour plane ride. o.O
Oh yeah, and it's supposed to be really crappy out the day I leave. Freezing rain and UGH. We'll probably get delayed with our luck. D:

Alright I went back and read some of my entries and realized I never posted about my hair dying mishap.

Well, I went to my friend's house back in March. So we decided to dye our hair a dark red. Well I think hers was a little lighter. But anyway, we bleached our hair, which I had never done before. So instead of dark red, mine came out like...pink-ish. And then it changed to like orange or something. It was pretty bad. I kept it like that until like May and then my cousin took me to get it fixed and I was SO HAPPY I got my dark hair back. I guess, I'll post a damn picture. >.O

Oh look my lip ring too! =P
And my hair isn't that long anymore either. o.o

It's Been Awhile =P

Wow, it's been quite awhile. I'm actually only writing this post because I'm watching House and it's the episode when they treat that blogger. The actress is the same girl who plays Donna in That 70s Show. So yeah, it inspired me to write a new post in my blog, since I haven't in like 8 months. Oops..

Anyway, got some interesting news. I'm going to California on the 10th! As in, 4 days the 10th. I'm so excited, but so nervous. It's my first time being on a plane. I'm going with a friend to visit my sister, and she's going to take us places and show us around and stuff. I'm sure it will fun. She might take us to Hollywood because it's not too far from where she's staying. We're also going to Disneyland on the 14th I think, with her and the people she's staying with. So I guess I'm in for an adventure! I'll be flying out on the 10th and I'll be back home on the 17th.

So I'm pretty sure I have an entry somewhere on here about a hamster that I got in March named Misty. Well, sadly she passed away in October. :( Not sure why, I think she might have been sick because she had been sleeping a lot in the last week before she died. She wasn't very old either I'm pretty sure. Not even a year I don't think. The pet store I got her from never told me, but anyway, I got three other animals after she died. My room can't not have an animal in it, besides my cats. It feels so empty. So, I got three degus. It's the first time I've ever had them, and they're quite a handful but they're so funny to watch sometimes. I'll post a picture at the end of the entry. =P

I'm not sure why, but I've been sleeping a lot lately. Well, I guess no more than I did before, but it feels like more. Ever since the time change, it like screwed me up or something. =P


Well, I guess I don't have anything left to write about so I'm gonna end it here. Here are my degus.

For anyone that doesn't know, a degu is a rodent that's related to the chinchilla and guinea pig. They even have tails! If you grab their tail though, they'll shed it off because that's what they did in the wild. I don't have names for them yet, probably never will. I can't really tell them apart, and yes, they are all female. They're sisters so no babies for me. They all love each other until it comes to food. =P

Craaaash!

Yesterday was a loooong day. It started out okay. My friend and I went on an adventure for a few hours then went back to my house for a little while. Then we waited for her boyfriend to get out of work, cause we were all going back to her house. So we're on our way to her house....we round a corner.....CRASH!!!! That's right. We got into a car accident. The person that hit us was talking on her cell phone and not paying attention at all. She was taking a left turn when my friend and I had the right of way, and she hit us.

It was my second car accident I've ever been in. Last one was in 07. My sister was driving and the roads were really crappy and she tried to stop at the stop sign at the end of our road, but instead we slid into oncoming traffic. So someone plowed into us. It was like in slow motion...

But anyway, I was pretty much speechless for like 30 minutes afterwards. It was scary, car accidents are scary, no matter how bad they are. Well, to me anyway. My friend has a bad sprain in her ankle cause she hit the brake hard and then the impact screwed up her ankle, but I'm fine. She might have whiplash too, which I'm really surprised I don't have.

Also, I've been sleeping like crap the past couple nights. It might be because I screwed my sleeping schedule up Saturday night by staying up until 5 in the morning. Oops... =P
I went to bed around 10:30 last night, woke up at midnight, and didn't get back to sleep until 3:30.

TOONAMI

Toonami. One of the best things about my childhood, is on RIGHT NOW. Oh my god, I'm so happyyyyy! I thought I would never see it on TV again. Just wow. I'm like speechless, and experiencing large amounts of nostalgia. <3 TOONAMI

LA LA LA

In my last blog, I talked about a hockey game that I wasn't looking forward to. Well, it was actually really fun. Before the game started, my friend, her dad, and I walked around town for a bit. We saw like a thousand Dunkin Donuts, so we finally stopped at one, after resisting the urge for 10 minutes. =P
We also saw a guy walking around town in a green sparkly prom dress. O.o

And I also talked about getting a pet at the pet store. Well I did get something. I got a little hamster. :3
She's so cute, and she's running on her damn wheel right now and driving me a little crazy. Here's a picture, the best one I have right now. Besides the one on my phone but I'm too lazy to send it to my email. =P

Her name is Misty, and she's a little ridiculous sometimes. :3

Also, before I end this entry, I GOT MY PERMIT. Finally!  I need to drive 35 hours (30 day, 5 night), and wait 6 months before I can go for my license, since I'm still under the age of 21. Oh well, I'd rather have a lot of practice anyway. I need it. :3

2 1/2 days..

That's how long my fish lasted. I bought a betta fish on Monday and when I woke up today (which is Thursday), it was dead. So, me and a friend are going to a pet store today and I am getting something else. NOT ANOTHER FISH. I have such bad luck with fish. I'm surprised it lasted that long honestly. I thought it was gonna die on the way home. =P

I'm going to a hockey game on Sunday with my friend and her dad. I'm a little excited for it, but not very. I don't know why. D:

If I get something at the pet store tonight I'll post a picture of it on here after. But for now, I'm gonna get off my laptop probably. Bye bye! :3

Valentine's Day

So today is Valentine's Day. And I'm single. Do I care? NOPE. :)
No relationship for me right now thank you.

I bought myself a Nintendo 3DS last week, along with Ocarina of Time for it. It's so addicting. Which I don't understand because it's pretty much the exact same thing as on the Nintendo 64 (besides some extra dialogue from Navi, like she needed any). But I'm pretty satisfied.

I'm in an attempt to learn grill at work. In the kitchen there's two different sides: pizza side, and grill side. I've been on pizza side for the year and a half that I've worked there, so now they're trying to train me on grill because we're running out of people. Even though they keep hiring people, but they're all useless. They just hired someone else after another worker quit after lasting about a month. I don't really know her very well but she better be useful. HAHA.

I'm going to the movies tonight with my friend and my cousin, who I work with. We're going to Woman In Black. Yes, while all other single people are sulking at home, or while people in a relationship are stressing out about what to do or what to get their girlfriend or boyfriend, we're going to a horror movie on Valentine's Day. I am so excited, I've wanted to see this movie for like two months.

Some guy was at my house earlier. He was doing something by my window and made my power go out, which woke me up. I don't know if he was with my dad working or what, but it was really kind of creepy. He woke me up at 9:00 in the morning. For me, that's too early. :P

Long Night Last Night

If I could have taken the night off from work tonight, I probably would have. I was sooo tired.

My sister went back to California this morning...at 5AM. That was the time her plane left. So we had to be at the airport at like 4 or some crap. So we had to leave my house at like 2:30AM to get there on time. And wow. I didn't go to bed until 6:30 this morning. -_-
Oh well, I'm a night owl anyway so it wasn't too bad. :P

Last night was also the worst night of work I have ever had. For some reason, everyone decided last night was the night to irritate me. I was already stressed out about my sister leaving. I went out to get a myself a drink and one of the waitresses is like "what is that?" So I'm like "it's a tattoo" and she's like "why did you get that?" BECAUSE I WANTED TO GET A DAMN TATTOO. I don't need your permission. It's my body, it's my skin, I'll do whatever I want with it, and I'll put whatever I want on it too. And then RIGHT AFTER THAT, I was cutting up buffalo chicken for a table's appetizer and my boss walks in and flips her wig because apparently I was cutting it wrong. WHAAAT? I didn't know there was a special way to cut up buffalo chicken.

But I'm done ranting. For now. :P

First Tattoo

I got my first tattoo on the 3rd, a Christmas present from my sister. I love it! I'll post a picture after I'm done writing. I've wanted a tattoo for so long. My friend called me the night I got it done and was like "I never thought you would get a tattoo!" and I'm like "uhh, I've wanted one since middle school." And then she starts going on about how I'm doing all these things she would never think I would do (getting a tattoo, getting my lip pierced), but I've wanted both of those things done since middle school. So, shows how much she knows. XD

I wish my damn sister would come home and hang out with me. This is her last day in Maine. She's been at a friend's house for the past two days. Her flight leaves tomorrow at 5 in the morning or some crap, so she has to be at the airport by 3 or 4. -_-

I bought a Gamecube the other day. Well, actually my sister bought it for me. Because her ex boyfriend borrowed ours a couple years ago, and I bugged him all last year to give it back to me and he never did. So I'm like "well fine I'll buy another one, for $30." I really missed my Gamecube. But he still has one of our damn games. And out of all the games he could still have, it had to be Legend of Zelda Wind Waker. >:(

I have to work today at 5, but I just want to be lazy today. AWWW. But anyway, I guess I'm done writing so here's a picture of my tattoo.
