New York adventures

Hello. It's me (lol).
I'm finally writing about my New York experience, so here's what went down.

We left Wednesday morning at about 9:30. 8 hour drive and we only stopped twice, so I guess we did pretty good. Arrived at our destination between 5:30 and 6pm, after a pit stop to Walmart. We hung around for a bit before we decided to hit up the Bubble Tea Cafe. It was my first time trying it. It wasn't too bad, I didn't really know what I was doing so it probably could have been better. I decided to put the tapioca balls in it and also decided I didn't like the texture of them so they were all left in the bottom of my drink, LOL. After that adventure we went back to the apartment/house we were staying at and hung out.
On Thursday, my cousin had to go to her school for a couple hours so my brother, our friend and I were left unattended, but we had her vehicle so we decided to go to Walmart again. After she got back she took us to Niagara Falls. It was pretty neat, not as big as I thought it was going to be, but still neat. The Canada side is probably more impressive. Then we ate at Hard Rock Cafe. I got a burger which was DELICIOUS, but it was 6pm and the first time I had eaten all day so I think the burger was a bit much. I only ate half of it and thought I was gonna hurl, so I decided to stop. After that we went back to the house and hung out.
On Friday, my cousin took us to this place that overlooked the lake. That was pretty cool. After that she took us to this waterfall, I can't remember the name of it. I feel like we did more on Friday but I can't remember.
Then on Saturday, we watched my cousin graduate from grad school. After that we traveled the 8 hours back home. We stopped a few times this time, mostly because we were sick of riding.

Well, that's it! I'll post pictures sometime but I'm too lazy right now to get them off my camera.

Leaving Tomorrow

So tomorrow I'm going to New York until Saturday to watch my cousin graduate from grad school. I'm kind of excited since I've never been to New York (besides when I went to California a few years ago and was stuck in the Rochester airport for like 5 hours). I'm getting my hopes up about seeing Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead) since he lives in New York, or I think he does anyway. I'm trying not to since the chances of seeing him are very slim, considering New York is pretty big. If I were to see him I would not know what to do with my life.

So I forgot to mention this in the last entry, but I got my driver's license back in August! It's so awesome considering I already had a car. I got it on the third try. I always felt like a failure cause I'm 23 and I just got my license and all my friends were getting theirs at like 16, but you know what? I really don't care anymore. So tonight I was trying to go to Walmart but I didn't get very far because it was raining and the road was icy in some spots. If I went over like 25mph I would slide so I turned around and went back home.

I really need to start packing for my trip but I haven't even started yet. I'm a huge procrastinator. I'm going with my brother, my cousin (obviously) and our friend. I think we're going to Niagara Falls someday, I don't know what day though. My cousin isn't graduating until Saturday morning so we'll have a few days to do whatever.

I really love The Walking Dead, but I have to say I was a little disappointed with the mid-season finale. ESPECIALLY where they ended the episode. I can't wait until February though. Not only is The Walking Dead coming back, but the second season of Better Call Saul is coming on too. Very pumped for that.
